A typical modern panel needs roughly 20-25 sq ft including practical spacing. The final layout depends on panel wattage, shade and access paths.

02Will solar work during a power cut?+

A standard on-grid inverter switches off during an outage for safety. Backup requires a compatible hybrid or off-grid system with a battery.

03Can extra power go back to the grid?+

In an eligible on-grid installation, surplus can flow through a bidirectional meter. Export rules and settlement depend on the applicable DISCOM policy.

04How is the right plant size selected?+

We compare your usable roof, monthly units, sanctioned load, daytime consumption and the local interconnection rules.
